The silver plating on these spades really opened up the top end on my bookshelf setup, vocals sound noticeably cleaner than with the brass ones I had before. Tightening them down took a bit of care but they grip the binding posts solidly once seated.

Swapped my old spades out for these and the difference in the highs was immediate — cymbals actually sound like cymbals now instead of a washed-out hiss. The silver plating seems to be doing its job, and the purple copper body feels solid without being bulky.

The silver plating on these spades made an audible difference in the high end on my amp setup. Bass feels tighter too, and they clamped onto the binding posts without any wiggle.
